I suppose that the answer to both questions is does the conversion to video format add any value to the end users? Does it make the slide presentation more compelling? If the original presentation is great, converting it to a video format might work quite well – or not if poorly done.

Hi Sean. Great post. I have a few questions
1. What’s your take on the idea of converting powerpoint files to video, does it help in promoting the content better?
2. Does audio track affect the user response to the video? If there is a video with audio and 1 without audio do you think the number of views they get will differ? The video is self descriptive.

One big thing that I would like to add is engaging with your community on the different video sharing sites. Watch, rate, and comment on other videos. Ask people what they think of your videos, etc. This lets them know that there is a real human behind what they are watching and makes them more likely to give genuine feedback and share your content if they enjoy it.
