With internet of things and the growth of mobile commerce citizenship could get new and useful services.

It depends on what kind of services Google offers to me.<br

Finding stuff out on the ww ocean ain't easy, so if Google helps me, I don't mind too much. And of governments want to know more about you for whatever reason, then most of them already have lots of info at their fingertips.Being 'known' is quite a small price to pay for having all the resources of the www at your fingertips. And I wrote about ATM Milan's big brother bus passes sometime ago - but I've found a way around 'telling' ATM on which bus or tram I find myself. The metro is more difficult to be anonymous on though!I wonder if ATM will provide us with porn mode bus passes, although I doubt it.Personally, I'm more worried about legislators abusing data than Google - if Google gets caught doing something untoward, then it may destroy the company.Interesting post Sean,Cheers,Alex

Yes, I suppose we are all under the Google spotlight, but then the www is the world’s greatest relationship manager – and most of it costs nothing.

I don’t really know what Google has on me, but whatever it does have is probably quite anonymous, and if it helps me find what I’m looking for, or points me towards some product or other which I might find interesting, then I’m not too worried.
